Here’s an example of how the male reproductive parts collaborate: sperm production.

Sperm are made in the testicles. They leave the body mixed in a fluid called semen.

  • About 100 million sperm are released during one ejaculation.
  • When sperm pass through the vas deferens, fluid mixes with the sperm.
  • This fluid + sperm = semen.
  • Semen leaves the penis through the urethra.
